YWCA STRATEGY

For the next 20 years, the YWCA movement will develop five Strategic Frameworks that will serve as blueprints for implementation of Vision 2035.

Each Strategic Framework will cover a four year period and it will guide the movement towards achieving Vision 2035. Individual YWCA Member Associations will incorporate the essential elements of the Vision 2035, along with the Strategic Frameworks, into their own programmes and work. YWCA GOAL 2035

The Goal 2035 is designed to establish a clear objective for the future sustainability of the YWCA movement. The singular statement of commitment is to scale up our reach and impact on young women and girls as leaders and for the protection of their rights.

The YWCA movement together with a global Working Group have engaged in a series of activities to incorporate the outcomes and visions expressed by YWCA members, volunteers, staff and external partners, over the past four years. During this consultation process we recognised the deep history, values and extensive work and collective impact of the YWCA member associations.
